DONATIONS FROM US DONORS
Genetic conditions are a global cause and Gene People is delighted to accept donations from people in the US via the donor advised funds scheme operated by CAF America.
Donations up to $15,000 USD can be made via the online link (Donor Advised Gift Form). Please type in your Gene People where it asks for the organisation name and our UK Charity Commission number in the field labelled “organization name.” Our UK Charity Commission number is 1141583.
For donations over that amount and up to $100,000 USD, additional steps may be needed to meet compliance so please let us know on hello@genepeople.org.uk .
If you have a fund with CAF America, please speak with your relevant Fund Managers to get the specific process to make a gift recommended for Gene People.
After a donation is processed, CAF America will send a US tax receipt to you. There is no additional cost to Gene People for this service, but please note that an administrative charge is deducted from all incoming donations (8% on the first $100,000 USD (an $80 minimum fee)).
